Si chiama in questa maniera strana, etnocentrismo , la maniera di vedere la storia ed il presente basandosi esclusivamente sul modo di vedere della propria cultura e della propria tradizione. Per esempio, noi italiani che ricordiamo con tanta commozione la shoah, pecchiamo di etnocentrismo quando dimentichiamo le stragi che nel periodo fascista hanno funestato la vita di migliaia di indigeni africani, villaggi albanesi e slavi . Pecchiamo di etnocentrismo a livello European when we forget (indeed, I myself did not know) of the massacres and violence of the Japanese against the Chinese, and violence among Utuh and Tutsis in Africa, dell'eccidio of Armenians. One could go on and on. But who would remember these things? Who remembers all the other dates as Jan. 27. The school, the media, the government. O, not to delegate to others of our moral duties, we might as well take an encyclopedia or connect to the internet and find out how many deaths are hidden. Do not you think?
