Coppi e Pantani, due storie simili, due grandi personaggi dell'ultimo secolo, portatici via troppo presto, quando ancora potevano regalare tanto a chi li circondava. Ma vorremmo passare con questo post, al momento più tragico, il culmine di una storia strana, ambigua, la storia che ha portato alla morte di Marco Pantani. Possibile che un ragazzo di 34 anni in piena salute muoia a causa di un non ben definito "malore", proprio poco dopo aver dichiarato pubblicamente che nel ciclismo c'è del marcio? E' possibile che nelle due morti ci sia un collegamento? Stesse dinamiche, stesse dichiarazioni contro un mondo, quello del ciclismo, ipocrita, che protegge chi fa uso di droga e chi la vende sopratutto. A volte se si vanno a toccare cupole così potenti si rischia davvero grosso. E il prezzo da pagare per il proprio coraggio è quello della propria vita.
